There's Nothin' Like Family

There are often times when people can't believe how close my extended family is on my mother's side. I am super close with my 3rd, 4th and even possibly 5th cousins if there is such a thing. Tonight, my third cousin Alicia is getting married and I'm so happy for her. Ty is going to be in the wedding and I can't wait to see how that goes over. Alicia didn't want a big wedding and had thought about going off somewhere to get married but her big sister Amanda insisted on planning her a wedding here at home. So she is going to have a small wedding in our local park with the reception at our church. Last night the family all gathered to help prepare the food for the reception. Here are a few pictures:

A picture of the Bride to be :)

This is another cousin, Tabby, that I love dearly. She spoils all of us kids, small and big, and we all love it!

Emily (yet another cousin) and I made this. We saw a picture of it and created it. Isn't is pretty! I say we should open a business. ha!

Well until next time, Amber

Yay...My First Post!

I'm so excited because I've finally created a blog. I have been wanting to do this for forever. I have had some inspiration though. Thank you to Sandi McClain and Kelly's Korner. I am still trying to learn the ins and outs of this thing. I just typed a whole blog that got deleted. Not very computer savvy, I'll admit so it's going to take some work on my part to get this thing figured out. Where there is a will, there's a way right :) You may ask where I got my blog name and it all comes from a lack thereof. I couldn't come up with anything and saw a blog called "diary of a coaches wife" so I just copied from that. As I sit here typing this my beautiful baby girl is on the bed sound asleep and her precious big brother is on his way home from bible school at his great-grandmother's church. He has had a blast this week, but I miss him. We'll that is going to be all for tonight. Will post later...goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!
